The council has finalized the implementation of the «Andilla más clara» project, aiming to make it easier for residents to consult municipal public information in a simple and transparent manner. This initiative was made possible by a grant from the Generalitat Valenciana, through the Conselleria de Justicia, Transparencia y Participación, and the Diputación de Valencia, intended for municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants.
The process began with a technical audit of the Transparency Portal, the Electronic Office, and the municipal website, using the MESTA methodology and the regional standards of Law 1/2022. Subsequently, an update of content regarding institutional organization, political representatives, and staff was carried out.
In parallel, a technical diagnosis of the municipal website was performed to improve information architecture, clear language, and usability. As a result, menus and sections have been restructured to simplify and clarify content, eliminating bureaucratic texts.
To ensure the sustainability of the model, an internal publication guide has been developed, and a practical workshop was given to technical and political staff on accessible writing. The project concluded with accountability and information actions for citizens, incorporating inclusive language and a gender perspective.
The final balance demonstrates the achievement of the objectives, transitioning from a passive accumulation of documents to accessible transparency, with a more intuitive and understandable web space for citizens.
