The Benifaió Chamber of Agriculture hosted a working and participation session focused on the drafting process of the Local Ethical Management Plan for Feline Colonies in the municipality. This session included volunteers, associations, technical staff, and political representatives from the City Council.
Attendees shared experiences, needs, and proposals to move towards a coordinated, responsible, and respectful management of the feline colonies present in the municipality. This initiative is part of a participatory process designed to gain firsthand knowledge of the existing colonies.
The ultimate goal is to establish criteria and action protocols that contribute to animal welfare, citizen coexistence, and proper management of these animal groups. The Benifaió City Council emphasizes the collaborative work with all involved parties to develop a plan tailored to the municipality's specific needs.
