The municipality of Onda will take a step forward in its educational offer with the launch of university facilities located in the former fire station, now converted into the Agora Onda building. This project is the result of a collaboration agreement between the local council and UNED Castellón.
The academic offer includes degrees such as Psychology, Early Childhood Education, and various Engineering specialties, as well as Artificial Intelligence. The program has been designed to meet the demand for technical profiles from companies in the ceramic and logistics sectors in the area.
The new facilities will feature advanced technology and will allow students to study both in-person and in a blended format. In addition to classrooms, the space will include a library and a study room for residents and students.
The agreement, with an initial duration of four years, involves an annual investment of 30,000 euros by the City Council, which covers maintenance and equipment, while the university institution is responsible for academic management and teaching staff.
