The Civil Guard has dismantled an indoor marijuana plantation in a second-hand establishment in Burriana, arresting one man for a crime against public health.

Civil Guard officers from Burriana have dismantled an illegal cannabis plantation located in a premises used for buying and selling second-hand items. The operation began after officers detected signs pointing to a clandestine cultivation.
During the search of the establishment, agents discovered a well-equipped facility for marijuana production. Inside, they found 141 plants in an advanced flowering stage, along with a complex infrastructure for lighting, ventilation, climate control, and environmental management designed to maximize cannabis yield.
The investigation, conducted by the Burriana Civil Guard with the assistance of drug-detection dogs from the Canine Service of the Castellón Command, led to the arrest of one man. He is accused of a crime against public health related to marijuana cultivation.
The proceedings, along with the detainee, have been handed over to the competent Judicial Authority in Vila-real for further action.
