A dead dolphin was located early this morning on Serratella beach, within the municipality of Nules.

It was some fishermen who discovered the marine animal's carcass during the early morning hours. The dolphin was in a notable state of decomposition when found, near the border with Burriana beach.
The men immediately alerted the Local Police of Nules about the discovery. Due to the animal's condition, the removal was managed directly by the Nules City Council, following the established protocol.
As explained by the Councilor for Beaches, María José Esteban, the municipal protocol does not require the intervention of the Oceanogràfic in these cases, as this organization only acts if the animal is found alive, even in a critical situation.
