Tension is rising in the province of Castellón ahead of the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina. Several municipalities have organized giant screens for fans to experience the exciting match together. The Plaza Mayor in Castellón and the Som Festival in El Grao will broadcast the match starting at 7:00 PM, expecting a large turnout of fans.
In Vila-real, the Plaza Mayor will transform into a 'red tide' with the hope of celebrating the second World Cup star. Numerous fans are expected to gather from 6:30 PM onwards. There will also be meeting points for the Argentine community in the province, such as Els Lluïsos.
The pre-final atmosphere is already palpable. Roberto Merhi from Benicàssim is already sporting his Roja jersey from the Belgian GP. From New York, two residents from Castellón with the Spanish jersey and the CD Castellón flag are following the World Cup buzz. Former Villarreal players like Joan Capdevila and Marcos Senna will also experience the final from the stadium.
Music will also play its part, with Inda Bonet, a musician from Vila-real, tasked with playing the Spanish anthem before the match. Meanwhile, the football debate centers on the generational clash between Lionel Messi and the emerging young star Lamine Yamal.
