This measure, which will be implemented soon through direct transfers, seeks to resolve thermal deficiencies in classrooms. Allocations for each center range between 5,000 and 25,000 euros, allowing management teams to implement improvements in air conditioning, ventilation, and insulation systems before the start of the next school year.
In addition to this aid, the city has two major educational projects underway funded by the regional administration that exceed 24 million euros. These actions include the construction of the new IES Jaume I facilities and the comprehensive renovation of the CEE Pla d'Hortolans, focused on energy efficiency and accessibility.
Finally, the municipality has also benefited from universal free education for children aged 0 to 3 for the 2025/2026 school year. This initiative has meant direct savings for nearly 400 families in Burriana, with an annual investment from the Conselleria exceeding one million euros to finance places in nursery schools.
