The measure, validated in the July ordinary plenary session, will allow for the financing of priority actions for the municipality. Among the most notable interventions is the sixth phase of the accessibility plan, endowed with one million euros, which will focus on repairing sidewalks damaged by tree roots in areas such as Torre Bellver, the town center, and Les Amplàries.
In addition, the council has reserved 500,000 euros for the replacement of drinking water pipes in Torre Bellver and an additional 700,000 euros to renew conduits in La Colomera, where the current network is in poor condition.
Furthermore, the plenary session gave the green light to a specific modification of urban planning. This decision will allow for the change of use of a plot from residential to tertiary, with the aim of facilitating the establishment of new economic activities in the town.
