The mayor of Castelló, Begoña Carrasco, accompanied by the deputy mayor of El Grau, Ester Giner, and the Councilor for Tourism, Arantxa Miralles, welcomed the enthusiasts. During the reception, Carrasco spoke with participants, learning about their experiences in the motorcycle world. Among those present was Didier Casat, mayor of Cascastell (France), with whom the shared passion for two-wheeled vehicles was discussed.
The mayor highlighted the satisfaction of hosting Big Twin participants, acknowledging the event's long history and the organizers' hard work. "We will continue to support initiatives that enrich the city's program and offer attractive proposals for residents and visitors," stated Carrasco, thanking everyone involved for their efforts.
For her part, Ester Giner emphasized that El Grau once again becomes a meeting point for motorcycle lovers, generating commercial and leisure activity. She noted how Big Twin maintains its essence while incorporating new features.
Arantxa Miralles highlighted Big Twin as an opportunity to showcase Castelló as a year-round tourist destination, combining motorcycles, music, gastronomy, beaches, and family-friendly activities.
The program, running until Sunday, September 13th, at El Pinar del Grau, includes a Market with over ten food trucks, workshops, children's activities, and the Kids Zone, alongside biker culture-related events. Admission to the venue and concerts are free.
Musical performances on Friday feature Love Factory, Five, The Dirties (a Mötley Crüe tribute), and Obús. Saturday will see performances by Mind Game, Back to Hills, Resilients, and Dünedain. On Sunday, Simago Lemons and Dusting will conclude the musical lineup.
The International Bike Show Big Twin will be a highlight, with an exhibition on Saturday at 10:00 AM and a central event between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Additionally, two motorcycle routes are planned: one on Saturday towards Belumar (Benicàssim) and on Sunday through the Desert de les Palmes.
This year, under the slogan “The roar is lived as a family,” activities for all audiences have been incorporated, such as motorcycle-related robotics, 3D printing, mechanics workshops, and leather crafting, extending the experience beyond the usual motorcycle enthusiasts.
