Benicàssim is gearing up to host the XVII Provincial DIPCAS Beach Tennis Circuit this Saturday, July 18, an event expected to draw approximately 140 pairs to Torreón beach. This beach is recognized as a key venue for this sport in the province of Castellón.
The tournament returns to its birthplace, having established itself over the years as a significant fixture in the summer sports calendar. Its success has been instrumental in promoting beach tennis and fostering the creation of clubs that now compete nationally.
The day will be divided into two sessions. The program will kick off at 10:30 AM with the mixed and junior categories, followed by the men's and women's tournaments starting at 4:00 PM.
With nearly 140 pairs already registered shortly before the registration deadline, the organization has limited spots remaining. Interested participants can still register via the Patagonia Esport website until full capacity is reached.
The circuit event will offer a blend of competition, social interaction, and activities by the Mediterranean Sea, further cementing Benicàssim's connection to beach tennis and reinforcing its status as a prime location for the sport in the Valencian Community.
