Tourism Councilor Arantxa Miralles, alongside Salvador Ferrando, the organization's representative, unveiled the festival's new edition today. The musical event will feature a diverse program including tribute acts, concerts, and various musical styles, all with free admission.
Miralles emphasized the importance of initiatives that enhance Castelló's year-round tourist offerings and boost the city's dynamism during the autumn months. "We want Castelló to be an attractive destination twelve months a year, with cultural and musical proposals that invite both our residents and visitors to enjoy everything our city has to offer," she stated.
The councilor highlighted Castelló's numerous attractions, from its coastline and gastronomy to its heritage, festivals, and green spaces, advocating for proposals that enrich the experience for residents and visitors alike. "Investing in live music and events like this allows us to create new reasons to visit Castelló, enjoy the city, and discover it from a different perspective. We want a vibrant city with year-round activity and a cultural offering that appeals to diverse audiences," she added.
Parc Ribalta, a natural setting in the heart of Castelló, will host this musical day. The initiative aims to make this space a meeting point for residents and visitors, blending music and nature in an outdoor experience that also stimulates the city's activity and encourages the enjoyment of its parks and gardens.
The 2026 edition follows the excellent reception of the previous year, which saw over 4,000 attendees for the event headlined by Pitingo. The organization views this success as motivation to maintain a curated program and establish the festival as a recognized cultural reference.
The program kicks off at 6:00 PM with a performance by Cia. Aida Lara. At 6:30 PM, El Canto Da Estopa will present a tribute show featuring hits from artists like Estopa, Melendi, and El Canto del Loco.
A major highlight will be Antonio Carmona's performance at 8:00 PM. The renowned artist, formerly of Ketama, will present his repertoire in a one-hour concert, known for his audience engagement and genre versatility.
The music continues at 9:00 PM with La Cuarta Cuerda, followed by Cris Reyes Flamenco Tech Fusion at 10:30 PM, closing the festival.
Festival Origen will take place on Saturday, October 17th, at Parc Ribalta with free admission. Full details are available on the official website: www.origencastello.com.
