The event, taking place at Platja de l'Albir from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, is part of the European campaign Time to Move 2026. It will bring together young people from L'Alfàs del Pi and Alaquàs, thanks to collaboration between both city councils, aiming to foster coexistence and experience exchange. It also welcomes participation from young people across the Marina Baixa region.
The Councilor for Cooperation and Volunteering, Isabel Muñoz, highlighted that the event aims to be an experience combining coexistence and learning, going beyond a conventional talk on European programs. The goal is for participating youth to discover new possibilities for personal, academic, and professional development.
Information will be provided on programs such as Eurodesk, the European Solidarity Corps, Erasmus+, and DiscoverEU, as well as other opportunities for training, internships, volunteering, and international experiences. The program will include educational and leisure activities, group dynamics, a cooperative scavenger hunt, and a panel of international volunteering experiences with young people and representatives from the association De Amicitia.
According to Isabel Muñoz, the approach aligns with Eurodesk's objective of making European information accessible and transforming it into real opportunities for youth participation and mobility.
The event seeks to bring these opportunities, especially to young people who have never participated in European programs. The Eurodesk Multiplier Point in L'Alfàs del Pi will offer guidance for those wishing to embark on a mobility or volunteering experience abroad.
Under the slogan ‘Volunteering, Solidarity, and Mobility for Active European Citizenship’, the initiative aims to show how an international experience can enhance personal and professional skills, language learning, cultural understanding, autonomy, and future opportunities.
Participation is free and includes meals and all planned activities. Places are limited and require prior registration.
