From November 7th to 10th, L'Alfàs del Pi will host its traditional Jubilee Festivities and the Santísimo Cristo del Buen Acierto, a celebration that will fill the streets with music, tradition, and community spirit.

The program includes activities for all ages, with the participation of 42 'peñas' (social clubs) and nearly a thousand members. Penya L’Impacte, presided over by Andrea Alonso, takes on the role of Mayorales this year, after a year of hard work to prepare a celebration intended for both residents and visitors to enjoy.
The Councilor for Festivities and Traditions, Sandra Gómez, has acknowledged the effort of Penya L’Impacte and the involvement of the 44 'peñas', highlighting their importance in keeping the tradition alive. Gómez emphasized the open and participatory nature of the festival, with activities for everyone and a special focus on street festivities, music, and coexistence between 'peñas' and citizens.
To ensure the smooth running of the festivities, a coordination meeting was held involving municipal departments, local police, technical services, the waste collection and street cleaning company, the 2026 Mayorales, and the Associació de Penyes Santíssim Crist del Bon Encert.
The preliminary events begin tomorrow, Wednesday, November 4th, with the official inauguration of the festival lighting in the Plaça Major and the presentation of the festival book at the Espai Cultural Escoles Velles. On Thursday the 5th, the Nit d’Albaes will take place, and on Friday the 6th, the Noche del Pregón.
The official celebration kicks off on Saturday the 7th with the Desfile del Humor (Humor Parade). Sunday the 8th will be the day of the floral offering to the Santísimo Cristo del Buen Acierto, Monday the 9th will be dedicated to the Santísimo Sacramento, and Tuesday the 10th, the day of the Santísimo Cristo del Buen Acierto, will be the central day.
The entertainment program includes numerous proposals such as morning and afternoon gatherings, themed parties, musical performances, parades, contests, children's activities, appetizers, a nighttime 'mascletà' (fireworks display), and 'correfocs' (fire runs). Notable among the musical events is the concert by Seguridad Social on Sunday, November 8th, at the municipal tent.
The festivities also maintain their religious dimension, with the granting of plenary indulgences since 1857. The main religious events, including masses and processions, will be held on Monday the 9th and Tuesday the 10th of November. The young girl Valeria Orta Rojas will recite the traditional embassy to the Christ at the end of Tuesday's procession.
Unique traditions such as the Trisagios, sung prayers of thanksgiving and supplication, will be held on November 7th, 8th, and 9th at the parish of San José, performed by residents who are keeping this tradition alive, inherited from their families for over 150 years.
