L'Albir beach hosts this Saturday, October 24th, the III Albir Organic Ecological Fair, a large open-air pantry where 18 producers will offer a variety of organic and healthy products.

From 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, the Paseo de las Estrellas will transform into a vibrant market with a gastronomic offering including oils, cheeses, figs, pomegranates, almonds, jams, nougats, beers, fruits, and vegetables. Additionally, cosmetic and sleep products will be available. The fair represents a unique opportunity to meet organic producers directly, promote responsible consumption, and purchase local products.
Organized by the Association for the Defense of Organic Production and Food of the Valencian Community (ASECOCV), with sponsorship from the Generalitat Valenciana and collaboration from the L'Alfàs del Pi City Council, this third edition aims to promote healthier lifestyles and bring organic production closer to residents and visitors.
The Councilor for Tourism, Environment, and Beaches, Luis Miguel Morant, encouraged citizens to participate: “Albir Organic is a great occasion to discover quality products, learn about the work of organic producers, and enjoy a different day by the sea. We want the fair to be a meeting point for all audiences, where people can learn, taste, and see that opting for more responsible consumption can be part of our daily lives”.
One of the main attractions will be the cooking workshop ‘Lovers of healthy and balanced cooking’, led by Rosa Miralles, an integrative dietitian, from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at the Biblioplaya. A live demonstration will prepare rice crepes filled with vegetables and peanut sauce, followed by a free tasting, also designed for children.
The fair is complemented by a prior informative session on the right to healthy eating, held at the Carabineros Environmental Education Center, which brought together specialists to reflect on food quality, food sovereignty, and consumption decisions. This program expands the fair's offering beyond product sales, combining education and the promotion of healthy habits.
The L'Alfàs del Pi City Council supports this initiative as part of its commitment to sustainability and environmental protection. The III Albir Organic Ecological Fair will be open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM with free admission, inviting attendees to enjoy, learn, and embrace a more environmentally friendly way of consuming.
