The exhibition, organized by the association with the collaboration of the City Council, brings together the works of nine artists linked to the association: Rocío Guijarro-Sánchez, Dolores Álvarez, Yolanda Reyes, Raquel Puerta-Varó, Bippan Norberg, Lola Juan Navarro, Gunilla Herrera Norén, Vera Waldorff, and the honored artist Reidun Teigen. The creators explore different disciplines, styles, and sensibilities, uniting their visions under a common project focused on visual arts.
One of the notable moments of the afternoon was the posthumous tribute to artist Reidun Teigen, which was an emotional event for all attendees. The Huellas de Mujer Association, chaired by Vera Waldorff, awarded her the posthumous title of Honorary Member, highlighting her significant artistic career and her close relationship with the entity.
The celebration of HuellArts 2026 coincides with the tenth anniversary of the founding of Huellas de Mujer, which took place in 2016 in l'Alfàs del Pi. Over the past decade, the association has carried out significant cultural and artistic work, focused on recognizing and highlighting women's contributions in fields such as culture, art, and science. It has also promoted initiatives like its Feminist Reading Club.
The exhibition is consolidated as a meeting point between artists and society, celebrating a decade of the association's trajectory in the municipality's cultural life. HuellArts 2026 will be open to the public in the Exhibition Hall of the Casa de Cultura until October 8th.
