Councilor Carlos Soler will meet with residents of the La Ermita neighborhood this Thursday, September 24, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at La Ermita square, as part of the Neighborhood Representative campaign.

The Villajoyosa City Council continues the Neighborhood Representative Campaign 2026 with a new meeting for residents. Councilor Carlos Soler, representative for the La Ermita neighborhood, will receive citizens on Thursday, September 24, between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, at La Ermita square.
This initiative, created in 2023 by the local government led by Mayor Marcos Zaragoza, aims to listen to residents of each neighborhood in a close, dynamic, and participatory manner. Councilor Carlos Soler is responsible for the area extending from the AP-7 to the N-332, and from the municipality of Finestrat to El Campello.
The division of the municipality into nine areas, based on population density, allows for more personalized attention. Each neighborhood representative supervises public services and addresses the needs of residents in their assigned zone. Additionally, residents have a digital application and an email address to report any issues or suggestions.
Other neighborhood representatives include Peyo Lloret, responsible for the area from the AP-7 to the municipality of Orxeta; Pedro Ramis, covering from Pelayo street to the municipality of El Campello, including El Xarco, Montíboli, Paradís, and Poble Nou; Paco Pérez, in charge of the area between the N-332 and Los Estudiantes beach; and Jaime Santamaría, who covers from the Torres river to La Cala. Marisa Mingot manages the area from Pianista Gonzalo Soriano avenue to the Cemetery road; Ana Alcázar, the Costera Pastor-Barberes Sud neighborhood; Maite Sánchez, the urban center and areas like Horta and La Torreta; and Rosa Llorca, the historic center and Centro beach.
These meetings are held periodically to address daily neighborhood matters.
