Council members from L'Alfàs del Pi Town Hall have participated in the ninth edition of Innpulso Emprende in Terrassa, an event bringing cities together to promote innovation and collaboration.

The ninth edition of Innpulso Emprende, held in Terrassa on September 29th and 30th, featured the participation of the councilors for Innovation, Rocío Guijarro, and European Funds, Dolores Albero, from the L'Alfàs del Pi Town Hall. This gathering, organized by the Innpulso Network, brought together over 150 municipal representatives and innovative projects from 51 cities.
The main objective of the meeting was to showcase local talent, foster new connections, and strengthen cooperation between public administrations and business ecosystems. L'Alfàs del Pi has been part of the Innpulso Network since 2016, a membership recognizing the municipality's commitment to science and innovation as drivers of economic and social development.
Participation in such events allows the municipality to learn about experiences and projects from other towns, as well as to establish new collaboration avenues in innovation and entrepreneurship. According to the Innovation Councilor, Rocío Guijarro, “Being part of the Innpulso Network allows us to be in direct contact with other cities working to make innovation a tool for citizens.” She added that these meetings are an opportunity to discover projects addressing real challenges and identify useful experiences for the municipality.
For her part, the European Funds Councilor, Dolores Albero, highlighted the importance of learning about innovative initiatives that can create new opportunities. “Innovation, knowledge, and collaboration are fundamental to face current challenges and leverage the opportunities offered by European funds,” she stated. She emphasized that spaces like Innpulso Emprende help identify potential collaboration lines and find benchmarks for improving services and public policies.
The 2026 edition concluded with the awarding of six distinctions. Alsis IoT (Palencia) received the recognition for Laboratory City Projects; Aldeas Activas (Santander), for innovative projects in public services; and AIQUOS (Cerdanyola del Vallès), for innovative knowledge and talent transfer projects.
Furthermore, EDEN BLUE (Gandia) was distinguished for Innovation Projects for Climate Resilience, while Fibras Naturales Canarias (FNC) (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) received recognition for Rural Innovation Projects for Territorial Cohesion and also the Innpulso 2026 Audience Award.
Innpulso Emprende solidifies its role as a key meeting point for administrations, companies, and innovation ecosystem agents, facilitating the exchange of experiences and the creation of new collaborations. For L'Alfàs del Pi, its membership in the Innpulso Network reinforces its commitment to innovation and cooperation with other entities.
