The Xàbia Moros y Cristianos Festival Board has decided to modify its schedule for the weekend of July 18th and 19th, concentrating the main events on Saturday.

The decision involves the cancellation of the Band Entrance and the Gala Parade originally scheduled for Sunday. According to the organization, the coincidence with the World Cup final caused difficulties in the hiring processes for the filaes, leading to the decision to unify the spectacle into a single day.
On Saturday, July 18th, the schedule will begin at 7:00 PM with the Band Entrance, followed at 8:00 PM by the Gala Parade. This event will feature the boato of the Filà Al-Tarik’s captaincy, which agreed to move its participation to this day.
The authorities' grandstand will be located on Jaime I Avenue. The Festival Board described the measure as a difficult but necessary decision to ensure the quality and respect for the work carried out by the fourteen participating filaes throughout the year.
