Pedreguer celebrates Sant Bonaventura Festivals 2026 from July 10 to 19

The program includes musical performances, bullfights, traditional events, and activities for all ages over ten days.

Pedreguer is preparing to celebrate its Sant Bonaventura Festivals 2026, which will take place from July 10 to 19 with a comprehensive schedule of activities.

The Pedreguer Festivals in honor of Sant Bonaventura 2026 begin on Friday, July 10, and will run until Sunday, July 19. The program offers a wide variety of events, including musical performances, parades, bullfights, and orchestra performances to liven up the nights.
Among the most anticipated activities are the traditional foam party, the paella day, and the rock night. Also highlighted are performances by singer Abril, Pep Gimeno «El Botifarra», and the group Auxili.
The first day, Friday, July 10, will start with the children's opening speech at 12:00 PM and the official announcement of the festivals at 1:00 PM with bell ringing and a parade. The afternoon includes the "Corre-càbiles" and a "tardeo" with Sueño Flamenco. The official opening speech by Cristina Martí will take place from the Town Hall balcony at 11:30 PM, followed by a bull run from the Fernando Machancoses ranch and the release of cows from La Paloma. The night will conclude with the Avinguda Sound Festival featuring performances by Abril, Sa Pena, and La Trocamba Matanusca.
Saturday, July 11, Presentation Day, includes a second bull run, the Volta a peu a Pedreguer (popular race), and the inauguration of the exhibition "La vestimenta en Pedreguer en el s.XX". The night will be marked by the presentation of the main and child festival queens and kings, followed by a performance by the orchestra Montecarlo and the Bonaventura Fest with groups like Arre-A.K., The Fuzzy For Her, and Les Pick-ups.
Sunday, July 12, Senior Citizens' Day, will feature a lunch for the elderly, "pilota de raspall" matches, the traditional "entrada de la Murta", and performances such as that of Pep Gimeno «El Botifarra». The night will end with dancing in the Plaza Major with the orchestra Matrix Band.
Monday, July 13, Children's Day, includes several bull runs, children's games, a festive concert in the church, and the screening of the film "Atraco a las 3". The evening will feature a popular dinner and the orchestra Monaco Party.
Tuesday, July 14, Paella Day, will host the Humorous Rally, children's performances, the traditional popular paella, and the foam party. The night includes the screening of "Con el culo al aire" and a nocturnal awakening with a fire show.
Wednesday, July 15, Sant Bonaventura Day, includes a solemn mass, "mascletà" (firecracker show), an offering to the patron saint, and a grand procession, followed by a fireworks display. The night of dancing will be enlivened by the orchestra Bella Donna.
Thursday, July 16, Bull Day, will feature several bull and cow runs, theater performances, and the screening of "L’arbre de les cireres". The night will include a mobile disco and more bull runs.
Friday, July 17, Quintadas Day, includes lunch, beer and "cazalla", a gathering of "quintadas" (groups of young men celebrating their year) with "charangas" (brass bands), and performances by groups such as Bajoqueta Rock and Sepionets. The night will end with a mobile disco.
Saturday, July 18, Floats Day and Rock Night, includes the distribution of horchata and "fartons" to residents of the nursing home, a bull run, and a grand float parade. The night will be headlined by performances from Auxili, Juantxo Skalari & La Rude Band, and Kinperkal.
Finally, Sunday, July 19, Sant Roc Day, includes the release of cows, a "truc" (card game) tournament, a solemn mass, musical performances by the group Salazhar and the "colla" Els Traginers, and the orchestra Capital 90. The festivals conclude with the traditional change of "quintadas".
