The Los Molinos urbanization, located in Les Rotes de Dénia, suffers from a recurring problem of accumulated garbage around full dumpsters, generating bad odors and concern among residents.

The images show overflowing dumpsters and garbage bags piled up, forming mounds around them, along with scattered cardboard and other waste. This situation occurs at the entrance of the Los Molinos residential complex, in Les Rotes de Dénia, a natural environment that frequently suffers from this problem, especially during the summer.
Residents consider the situation already «unsustainable» and emphasize that the battery of dumpsters is not sufficient for the area, causing not only bad odors but also the possible attraction of rats and even wild boars. The proximity of these accumulation points to their homes is one of the main reasons for complaint.
The garbage controversy in Dénia has intensified this summer. While the city council considers abandoning garbage bags on the sidewalks to be uncivil behavior, residents argue that they cannot take waste back home if the dumpsters are already full. They are requesting an improvement in facilities and recall that, despite the request from the Ombudsman last year to relocate the clean point, the city council has not yet complied.
