Massalfassar now has a new cycle lane improving the municipality's connection to the beach and the Mediterranean industrial park, facilitating sustainable and safe travel.

The municipality of Massalfassar has opened a new cycle lane designed to enhance the connection between the urban center, the beach, and the Mediterranean industrial park. This new infrastructure aims to facilitate bicycle travel, thereby promoting more sustainable, safe, and accessible mobility for all citizens.
The project, which involved an investment of 377,827.95 euros, was funded by the Provincial Council of Valencia. The new cycle path connects the town center with the overpass above the V-21, significantly improving access to both the industrial area and the municipality's coastal zone.
Last Friday, the mayor of Massalfassar, Robert Margaix, and the Councilor for Urban Planning, Carles Fontestad, visited the new cycling section to inspect the completed work. The route strengthens connections within the municipal area and offers an alternative to private vehicles, making access to the Mediterranean industrial park and the beach particularly convenient and safe.
In addition to the cycle infrastructure, elements such as benches, lighting, and new trees have been incorporated to make the journey more pleasant and secure. With this initiative, Massalfassar continues to advance in creating a sustainable mobility network and improving key connections within the municipality.
