The National Police have arrested six people, five men and one woman, in Dénia, accused of drug trafficking and belonging to a criminal group for using a cannabis association as a front.

The establishment, which was registered with the Generalitat Valenciana as an entity dedicated to naturism and alternative medicine, was actually operating as a point of sale for narcotics. Officers began the investigation after observing a constant flow of people entering and leaving the premises in a hurry, a situation that had caused concern among neighbors.
During surveillance, investigators confirmed that the club allowed access to anyone, without the need to be a member, and that many of the clients were foreigners spending their holidays in the town. The association had already been the subject of police inquiries since 2025 for the same modus operandi.
In the entry and search operation, authorized by the courts, officers seized over two kilograms of marijuana, one kilogram of hashish, hundreds of prepared cigarettes, and a sum of cash. Those arrested include the workers who managed the opening and supply of the drugs, as well as the members of the association's board of directors.
