The town of Calp has been recognized with the Más Bici 2026 seal, an award that rewards the commitment of municipalities to the daily use of bicycles and active mobility.

This award, promoted by the organization behind La Vuelta as part of the La Vuelta es Más program, was granted following an evaluation process carried out by experts from the Red de Ciudades y Territorios por la Bicicleta and the consultancy firm Copenhagenize.
The technical report highlights that Calp has significant potential for active mobility thanks to the integration of its Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan and its strategy as a Smart Tourist Destination. The evaluators note that, despite the characteristics of the urban morphology, the municipality's specialization in sports cycling gives it a privileged position.
The main challenge identified for municipal authorities is to achieve an effective balance between the success of elite sports tourism and the promotion of daily bicycle use among citizens.

The Más Bici seal seeks to recognize the effort and commitment of local administrations in favor of bicycle mobility.
