Affected individuals can process aid applications electronically through the Generalitat Valenciana's electronic headquarters (sede.gva.es), in person at the citizen service registries of the affected municipalities, or at PROP offices with a prior appointment.
To apply for aid, applicants must provide identification details, a responsible declaration of the damages suffered, a list of affected assets, and information on other aid received or requested. It will also be necessary to provide the file number from the Insurance Compensation Consortium or the corresponding insurer. If no insurance is held, or if consent to consult the Consortium's data is withheld, an expert report will be required.
For resettlement aid, the rental contract and expenses must also be proven, among other requirements established in the decree. Aid for vehicles declared a total loss by the insurer or the Insurance Compensation Consortium can also be applied for, according to Decree 173/2026.
The Dénia City Council will collaborate in identifying affected areas and will provide information and assistance to those affected via phone at 965 780 100 and email.
The processing, assessment, and resolution of aid applications fall under the Generalitat Valenciana, following the instructions of the competent ministry.
