The Benissa City Council has launched ‘CompraBEnissa’, a new mobile application designed to boost local proximity commerce and bring the municipality's commercial offerings closer to residents and visitors.

The Department of Commerce and Economic Promotion, together with AFIC-CREAMA Benissa, has developed this tool that allows affiliated businesses to publish discounts, promotions, and special offers. Users can check all these advantages directly from their mobile phones, thus creating a new communication channel between local businesses and their potential customers.
To benefit from the promotions, users must download the app for free and complete a registration. Once registered, they can access the list of affiliated businesses and discover available offers. When they find a promotion of interest, they should select 'Add to my coupons' and, at the establishment, show the corresponding QR code to the staff to apply the discount.
One of the key functionalities is that businesses themselves can manage and update their promotions, gaining visibility and generating new sales opportunities. Furthermore, it allows customers attracted by a specific offer to also discover other products and services within the establishment, thus fostering customer loyalty.
“

"Proximity commerce is a fundamental piece for Benissa, as it generates economic activity, employment, and life in our streets. With this application, we want to continue supporting our merchants and make it easier for residents and visitors to have more reasons to shop in our municipality."

Arturo Poquet · Mayor of Benissa
“

"With ‘CompraBEnissa’, we provide businesses with a new tool to gain visibility and attract customers, while offering citizens the opportunity to find special promotions and offers in Benissa's establishments."

Roberto Box · Councillor for Commerce and Economic Promotion
This initiative joins other actions promoted by the City Council, such as the Consumer Voucher campaign, with the aim of strengthening the commercial fabric, boosting the local economy, and encouraging shopping habits in the municipality's establishments.
