The Paiporta City Council has initiated the “Good Treatment” campaign, an educational program to prevent, detect, and combat school bullying, with the involvement of all of society.

The initiative, driven by the Education department, aims to address this issue globally and in a coordinated manner, offering resources and tools to children, families, educational centers, and professionals working with young people. The campaign involves the collaboration of the municipal departments of Education, Social Welfare, Sports, Youth, and Police, as well as the Civil Guard, educational centers, and other social agents.
The Councilor for Education, Olga Sandrós, emphasized the need for a joint response: “The fight against school bullying cannot fall solely on educational centers. We need a joint, coordinated, and transversal response, because good treatment is the responsibility of all of society.” The mayor of Paiporta, Vicent Ciscar, highlighted the municipal commitment to strengthening policies for the well-being of children and young people.
The “Good Treatment” campaign will include training, prevention, and awareness-raising through meetings at educational centers, workshops, and sensitization activities, such as a theatrical improvisation workshop. Social Welfare will enhance the dissemination of available municipal services and create a specific guide for families. The sports sector will also promote respect and good treatment.

"We are developing a specific guide for families, with information and guidance to help them detect possible bullying situations and know how to act."

The Police and the Civil Guard are also part of this coordinated effort. The initiative aims to establish stable work that extends beyond educational centers to reach all spaces where children and adolescents develop, with actions adapted to each group to reinforce prevention and coexistence.
