The city of Mislata has concluded an intense week of Popular Festivals with a final day that brought together thousands of people. The program combined major concerts, children's activities, gastronomy, and pyrotechnics, with a reinforced security and citizen attention deployment.
The schedule included events for all audiences. The Colla de Dimonis de Mislata maintained tradition with a large correfoc (fire run), while concerts such as Fangoria triumphed before a packed fairground. Dorian and Celtas Cortos also performed.
Children's activities played a prominent role, with the traditional xocolatà (hot chocolate), the "Pintando a San Francisco" drawing contest, and simultaneous chess games. Additionally, sack races, musical chairs, and cucañas (a type of climbing game) organized by the Clavaría de los Ángeles were held.
Gastronomy was present with the preparation of food for thousands of diners, such as the paella cooked by the Clavaría del Santísimo Cristo de la Fe. The Noche de Pinchos (Tapas Night) was also celebrated.
Pyrotechnics had their moment with the mascletà (firecracker display) fired by Pirotecnia del Mediterráneo in the Plaza Mayor and a traca correguda (running firecracker string) on Av. Gregorio Gea. The Clavaría del Santísimo Cristo de la Fe also organized a mascletà on Av. Gregorio Gea.
Tradition was present with the Passejà (processional walk) of San Miguel Arcángel, in which the eleven fallas commissions participated in the VI Dansà (dance). The solemn procession of the Clavaría del Santísimo Cristo de la Fe and the ronda of singers through the streets also took place.
The Fiestas de la Avenida de la Paz brought together neighbors and authorities for an anniversary marked by solidarity and new municipal commitments.
