Silla announces 2026 patron saint festival program

The agenda combines concerts, culture, family shows, and bullfighting events until August 13.

The municipality of Silla has unveiled the event program for its 2026 patron saint festivals, featuring a wide variety of shows and activities for all audiences from July 24 to August 13.

The event program for Silla's 2026 patron saint festivals has been revealed, offering an agenda that combines concerts, cultural performances, festivals, family-friendly activities, and shows for all audiences. The program will progressively expand until the main days dedicated to the Santísimo Cristo.
Activities will kick off on Friday, July 24, with La Orquestina Vulpini at the Parc de l’Alteró at 7:30 PM, an itinerant performance of music, circus, and humor. At 10:00 PM, the Plaça del Poble will host the XXVI Song Festival, organized by the Falla Mercat.
On Saturday, July 25, at 10:00 PM, the Gran Nit de Falles will take place, with the participation of local Fallas commissions. Starting at midnight, the venue on Avinguda Algudor will feature the show Bacarrà On Tour.
Music continues on Friday, July 31, with Empaque by Chicharrón Circo Flamenco at the Plaça del Mercat Vell at 8:00 PM. Later, at the Plaça del Poble, there will be a tribute to Manuel Carrasco (11:00 PM), and at Avinguda Algudor, the show La Otra Oreja dedicated to La Oreja de Van Gogh (midnight), followed by a set by Los Gemelos DJ.
The beginning of August will be marked by Latin sailing and musicals. On Saturday, August 1, at 11:30 AM, boats will depart from the Port de Silla towards La Mata del Rei for a Latin sailing exhibition. In the evening, the Plaça del Poble will host Musical Legends (11:00 PM), and the Carxofa Festival at the Avinguda Algudor venue (midnight) will feature Pablo Mas and Pako Martínez.
On August 2 and 3, musical tributes will continue with Toda una vida, a tribute to Víctor Manuel and Ana Belén (August 2, 11:00 PM), and the show Musical Armonía FM with Sandra Polop (August 3, 11:00 PM).
On Tuesday, August 4, the Plaça del Poble will feature a tribute to Sergio Dalma (11:00 PM). On Wednesday, August 5, the feast day of the Mare de Déu dels Àngels, there will be a children's show Cantajuegos (7:00 PM) at the municipal sports center's skating rink, a solemn mass (8:00 PM), and the Dance Show (11:00 PM), followed by a nighttime mascletà on Avinguda de Gandia.
The central day, Thursday, August 6, will be dedicated to the Santísimo Cristo with the traditional Dansa dels Porrots, a parade by the Agrupación Musical La Lírica, solemn mass (12:00 PM), mascletà (2:00 PM), and the Danzas de la Procesión. The evening will include the solemn procession and a mobile disco.
From August 7 to 13, the program will include sports activities such as petanque and birlas championships, water games, the Santísimo Cristo de Silla football trophy, a street dinner, and a verbena with the orchestra Invictus. There will also be a significant bullfighting program with peña parades, bull tests, bullfighter contests, and livestock challenges.
The Silla council reserves the right to modify the program and reminds attendees of safety recommendations, especially during bullfighting and pyrotechnic events, where participation by minors under 16 and alcohol consumption will be prohibited.
