This decision by the municipal government reflects a commitment to strengthening educational policies and supporting key entities within the town. Mayor Vicent Ciscar and Education Councilor Olga Sandrós have formalized new collaboration agreements with representatives from AMPAs and INTERAMPA.
This resource expansion aims to enable these associations to broaden their activities and projects, contributing to the daily life of the municipality's five public primary schools, one subsidized center, and two secondary education institutes. Councilor Olga Sandrós highlighted the crucial role of AMPAs and INTERAMPA as essential components of the educational community, working closely with teachers, students, and families.
The subsidy for INTERAMPA amounts to 15,000 euros, while each school's AMPA will receive 6,000 euros. These figures represent a significant increase from the previous year's 2,000 euros for AMPAs and 5,000 euros for INTERAMPA.
This increase in aid to associations is part of a broader commitment to education, with a total budget of 708,520.72 euros for 2026. The budget for the maintenance of school centers and the Adult Education School has risen by 25.25% to 537,520.72 euros. Furthermore, aid for schooling and summer, Christmas, and Easter schools totals 171,000 euros, with a substantial increase aimed at ensuring 100% inclusion for children with functional diversity.
