The Paiporta City Council has invested more than 20,000 euros in air conditioning public educational centers to ensure adequate conditions for students and staff.

With the start of the 2026-2027 academic year just around the corner, the municipal Education department has ensured improved thermal comfort in schools. The total investment exceeds 20,000 euros, aimed at mitigating high temperatures.
A significant portion, 7,500 euros, has been allocated to the rental of 18 portable air conditioning units, known as "penguins", for the CEIP Ausiàs March. These units will be available during the first month and a half of classes, aiming to enhance the well-being of the educational community.
This municipal initiative addresses a need identified by the school, providing a swift and effective solution to combat the heat. Last year, the CEIP Lluís Vives already received an investment of 12,864.72 euros in air conditioning equipment, covering the months of June, September, and October with two industrial units and twelve additional units for classrooms.
The Councilor for Education, Olga Sandrós, emphasized the City Council's priority to offer the best conditions in educational spaces, covering this expense with its own resources. For his part, the mayor, Vicent Ciscar, reiterated the municipal commitment to support the educational community and promote policies that guarantee quality public education.
