The architecture firm Negrosobreazul, based in Xirivella, is progressing with the project for the new auditorium-shelter. This multifunctional building will serve as a venue for culture and municipal events, while also being equipped for emergency response.
The design includes multipurpose rooms intended to house the population during critical situations. Additionally, parts of the building will be accessible as climate shelters, offering protection against both intense heat and cold. A large information screen will be installed on the main facade, intended for projecting both the cultural program and official alerts.
The auditorium-shelter has a funding of 9 million euros, from the EDIL DANA Plan, which is part of the European FEDER funds.
