The Benetússer City Council has begun the installation of 138 fans in the classrooms of the town's public educational centers, with an investment of 27,600 euros.

The Benetússer City Council will allocate 27,600 euros to the installation of 138 fans in the classrooms of the municipality's public educational centers: CEIPs Vicent Ricart, Blasco Ibáñez, and Cristóbal Colón. This measure responds to a long-standing demand from the local educational community.
The local government has worked on the thermal improvement of educational centers, aiming for classrooms to be conditioned for the next academic year. The Councilor for Education, Ana Martín, emphasized that despite the recent announcement by the Generalitat Valenciana regarding a funding line for climate control, the municipal management was already underway.
The City Council welcomes the Consell's response, which it considers "late but necessary" to address a "long-standing" issue. The councilor highlighted the shift from recommendations like opening windows to a concrete funding plan for climate control.
Installation work began this week, and all fans are expected to be operational before the start of the next academic year. Low-energy consumption models were chosen, leveraging previous energy efficiency improvements in the centers, such as the replacement of lighting with LED technology.
