Alaquàs Castle was the chosen venue today, Tuesday, October 13th, for the presentation of the new poetry collection by local author Pep Ferrer Guzmán. The poetic work is noted for its uniqueness, surprise, and distinctiveness.
The event commenced with a review of the poet's literary career, accompanied by an audiovisual presentation showcasing his works. Following this, a transverse flute duo, comprising Jaime Hernández and Alicia Marco, delivered a musical performance.
Enric Juan Redal, chronicler and director of Quaderns d’Investigació d’Alaquàs, delivered the official book presentation, thanking the poet for his 'love for the language, for writing poems, and for making the world a better place through words'.

The author, Pep Ferrer Guzmán, then took the stage to read some of the poems from the collection, which comprises approximately 100 poems. These poems delve into seldom-discussed personal aspects, and the book is dedicated to his mother, known as ‘La tia Conxeta’. The prologue was written by the Justice of the Peace, Pilar Latorre.
The event concluded with remarks from the Councilor for Culture, Marta Murciano. The presentation was attended by a considerable audience, including family, friends, and a significant representation from the Poetes d’Alaquàs collective, to which the author belongs.
