The Paterna City Council has held the III Commercial Awards Gala, an event that recognizes the effort, initiative, and trajectory of professionals and establishments contributing to economic activity and the vitality of the neighborhoods.

The Gran Teatre Antonio Ferrandis hosted this third edition on October 22nd, bringing together merchants, representatives of commercial associations, and members of the municipal corporation. The evening featured a performance by comedian David Cepo.
The Mayor of Paterna, Juan Antonio Sagredo, emphasized that “supporting local commerce means supporting the people behind it: the self-employed, the workers, and the families who depend on each business.” He reaffirmed the council's commitment to continue working with the sector.
In this edition, the restaurant Gastrobar El Comboi received the Hospitality Award. Its manager, Ángel García, accepted the award. The clothing store Monarca received the New Commerce Award, recognizing the initiative of its manager, Mónica Soler. Camina Conmigo was distinguished with the Best Commercial Initiative Award, and its creator, Estela Dionisio, received the award. The hardware store Ferreteria Avenida was recognized with the Commercial Trajectory Award, which was accepted by its manager, Rosario Torralba.
The Special Paterna Commerce Award went to the footwear company Zapato Feroz, recognizing its trajectory, innovation, and commitment. Mayor Juan Antonio Sagredo presented the award to co-founder and engineer Héctor Nebot.
The gala also paid tribute to Jesús Fernández (Bar Churrero), Juan Bernabeu and Francisca Lleó (Carnicería Hermanos Bernabeu), and Pedro Berruga (Carnes Pedro) for their contribution to the commercial and social life of Paterna.
The Mayor thanked the collaboration of Multipaterna, Paterna Unió de Comerç, and Asycval, as well as that of councilor Lucas Jodar and the Commerce Area. He recalled campaigns such as the Bono Comercio, Vuelta al Cole, Ruta de l’Esmorzaret paterner, and Cheque Bebé, noting that the Vuelta al Cole campaign generated 240,000 euros in purchases.
Sagredo stated that “Paterna is a great city with the soul of a town. And when I think of that closeness, I also think of our shops,” congratulating the awardees and thanking the sector for its contribution.
