The solidarity event, which took place last Sunday, gathered participants with the aim of supporting research and care for those affected by the disease. The event included various activities to promote participation and commitment to the cause.
Representing Tavernes Blanques was the Councilor for Health, Concepción Piquer, along with members of the local Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), who actively participated in the march.
During the event, Piquer shared the day with the mayor of Almácera, Emilio, and members of his government team. This meeting also served to strengthen collaboration between municipalities and associations on solidarity initiatives.

RunCáncer allows us to unite and contribute our bit to a cause that affects and matters to all of us. From Tavernes Blanques, we wanted to be present and be part of this initiative along with all the people who joined."
The Tavernes Blanques City Council highlights the work of the AECC, as well as that of all the volunteers and participants who make it possible for initiatives like RunCáncer to continue promoting solidarity and support for the fight against cancer.
