The Meliana City Council has launched the municipal project ''Meliana clara: Content renewal for cutting-edge transparency''. This initiative's main objective is to improve and update the council's public information digital channels, reinforcing its commitment to citizens.
Through this project, the content of the municipal website, electronic office, and transparency portal will be renewed and reorganized. The goal is to facilitate citizens' access to municipal information and make public procedures and services easier to locate and understand.
The initiative promotes a closer, clearer, and more accessible transparency, adapted to citizens' needs. It aims for any resident to quickly find the information they seek, avoiding overly administrative language or complex digital navigation.
With this action, the Meliana City Council continues to advance its commitment to transparency, citizen participation, and good governance, fostering a more direct and accessible relationship between the local administration and its citizens.
The project has been made possible thanks to a subsidy from the Generalitat Valenciana, through the Conselleria de Justicia, Transparencia y Participación, and the Provincial Council of Valencia. This aid is intended for municipalities with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants and smaller local entities in the province of Valencia to promote citizen participation, transparency, and good governance at the local level in 2026.
