The Burjassot City Council, through the Culture department led by Javier Naharros, has presented its new workshop offering for the 2026-2027 academic year. These proposals cover performing arts, music, visual arts, languages, and new technologies, and are designed for children, youth, and adults.
The enrollment period will run from September 7 to 28, and can be completed both electronically and in person. Online registration can be finalized through the Burjassot City Council's Electronic Folder. For in-person enrollment, an appointment will be required at the Casa de Cultura, from Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Appointment requests can be made online or by calling 96 316 06 30.
The Culture Workshops program for the upcoming academic year maintains a diverse offering. In the performing arts and music area, it includes classical and electric guitar workshops, theatrical improvisation for children, adolescents, and adults. As a novelty, a stage setup workshop for those over 16 years old is being introduced.
Visual arts will be represented by drawing and painting workshops, as well as pottery and ceramics groups. Regarding languages, English training will be offered from initial levels to official exam preparation, including conversation groups and proposals for Primary and Secondary students. A face-to-face level test will be required at the Casa de Cultura before formalizing enrollment in English courses.
The new technologies offering includes workshops on the Internet, digital accessibility for those over 55, and mobile phone usage. Among the new features are monographic courses on Windows 11 and Artificial Intelligence.
Classes will begin on October 13, 2026. Full courses will conclude between June 2 and 4, 2027, while monographic workshops will end between February 3 and 5. Large families will benefit from a 50% discount on enrollment fees, which will be 100% for those in the special category, upon presentation of valid supporting documentation.
