The Town Hall Square of Alfara del Patriarca will host the Association Meeting tomorrow, Saturday, starting at 5:30 PM. This event will bring together a dozen local entities with the aim of highlighting their annual work and facilitating public knowledge of their activities, projects, and proposals.
The Councilor for Citizen Participation, Laura Alandes, emphasized the importance of reviving this initiative, which was a need expressed by the associations themselves. "Alfara has a very diverse and active associative fabric, and this day is an opportunity for all entities to have their space, share what they do, and, above all, for citizens to get to know them and participate," she explained.
The program will begin at 5:30 PM with a concert by Los Ramones. At 6:30 PM, there will be horchata and fartons, a game of pilota valenciana, and a Fitkid exhibition. Between 7 PM and 8 PM, the stage will host a storytelling session organized by AFA Ramón y Cajal and AFA del CEIP Dra. Anna Lluch. Finally, at 8 PM, the fashion show by the Association of Merchants will take place.
Entities such as La Graella, Metalfarera, Dones d’Alfara, the Association of Merchants, the Falla La Unió, the Club de Pilota Valenciana, the Association of Retirees and Pensioners, AFA Ramón y Cajal, AFA del CEIP Dra. Anna Lluch, the Sports Club, the Musical Group, Juniors, and Cáritas will participate. Each entity will have its own table to offer its prepared activities.
Alandes concluded, "We want it to be a participatory meeting, but also a celebration of Alfara's associations, because behind each of them are people who dedicate time, effort, and enthusiasm to building the Alfara we know."
This initiative is part of the project "Strengthening the Associative Fabric and Promoting Citizen Participation in Alfara del Patriarca," subsidized by the Provincial Council of Valencia, which aims to strengthen and connect the municipality's associations and foster more active citizen participation.
