The INGENIO (CSIC-UPV) institute has organized the workshop “Art-Based Pedagogies and Research: A Critical Reflection on Academic Practices”. The activity explored how artistic practices can enrich the ways of teaching and researching in the academic field.
The event, organized by INGENIO's Focal Area 3 (AF3), took place at the Universitat Politècnica de València. It featured the participation of experts who shared their experiences applying artistic approaches in teaching and research.
The workshop also included practical activities and spaces for collective reflection. Through creative exercises, such as drawing and guided writing, participants reflected on their own academic practices and explored the possibilities of incorporating artistic methods into their work.
This activity is part of the work plan of Focal Area 3 of the MaX-CSIC project. This area focuses on collaborative processes for knowledge generation and application, with special attention to collaboration between different actors to address complex social challenges from an eco-social transformation-oriented approach.
