The Valencia Botanical Garden presents a special edition of its jazz cycle, organized in collaboration with the Sedajazz collective. Under the name 'VoluntariJazz', this musical event aims to recognize the dedication of all those individuals who devote their time and effort to helping others.
The program includes various performances that fuse jazz with other musical styles, seeking to offer varied and surprising rhythms to the attending audience. The initiative highlights solidarity, an intrinsic value for both the community of musicians and volunteers.
The first performance will take place on September 26 with the participation of Afro-Cuban Combo and Nave-Latin Ensemble, offering a fusion of jazz and Afro-Cuban percussion. On October 3, the Sedajazz Happy Band will join La Xicalla for a concert that mixes jazz with regional dance bands.
On October 24, renowned saxophonist Latino Blanco will lead his quartet to perform elegant and intimate jazz. On November 14, the Benijazz Big Band will fuse the classic sound of jazz with disco-funk rhythms by Funktastiks.
Valencian trumpeter Guillermo Valero will offer a concert on November 21, showcasing technique and contemporary jazz influences. On December 12, the Jove Big Band Sedajazz will exhibit its talent by reinterpreting genre classics.
To conclude the cycle, on December 26, the Sedajazz Latin Sextet will fuse jazz with traditional genres such as salsa, bachata, and bolero.
