The Molí del Pasiego in Sueca will be the venue this Saturday, September 26th, for a concert by the Caixa Ontinyent Symphony Orchestra. The performance, titled ‘Tango concertant, essència de Buenos Aires’, is a staged production that combines symphonic music, voice, and live dance. The show is inspired by the musical universe of the renowned Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla, as well as traditional and contemporary tango, under the artistic and musical direction of Roberto Turlo.
Sueca's participation is part of the Territori Simfònic project. This cultural initiative, promoted by the first vice-presidency area of the València Provincial Council, aims to bring symphonic music to the Valencian regions and highlight their heritage sites.
The Councilor for Culture, Mercé Sorrentino, highlighted that this cultural offering represents “an extraordinary opportunity to enjoy high-quality live music in a privileged setting”. She thanked the Provincial Council for choosing the municipality for the project and invited citizens to attend the exceptional evening.
The Territori Simfònic program for this year includes six concerts in emblematic venues in Benimodo, Aielo de Malferit, Utiel, Enguera, Oliva, and Sueca. All concerts offer free admission until full capacity is reached.
