The Forn Cultural of Petrer will be the venue, next Tuesday, September 29th at 8:30 PM, for a new poetry recital organized by the literary group Gramática Parda. The event will give voice to the “Poets of the Valley”.
As explained by the group's president, Victoria Eugenia García, “this particular recital is dedicated to poets from the Valley, seeking poetry as a meeting point.” García highlighted the quality of local poets, stating that “Elda has very good poets, Petrer has very good poets, why not get together and create a wonderful menu with them?”.
17 individuals from the collective will participate in the recital, reciting poems by renowned local authors. Among the represented poets are Petrer natives Paco Mollá, Enrique Amat, and Evangelina Lorenzo, as well as Elda residents Antonio Porpetta, Maruja Ycardo, El Seráfico, and Francisco Laliga.
As an added ingredient, the recital will feature the musical collaboration of Pepe Payá on guitar, who will accompany the poetry readings.
The group's president recalled that “all the events and recitals we hold, both in Elda and Petrer, are open to anyone who wishes to participate,” thus inviting citizens to attend and enjoy the poetry.
