València Approves Agreement to Support Music Bands with 207,000 Euros

The Local Government Board signs a three-year deal to promote the cultural and musical work of 26 music ensembles.

The Local Government Board of València has approved a collaboration agreement with the Coordinator of Federated Musical Societies of the City of València (Cosomuval), which brings together 26 music bands, to promote their cultural and musical work.

This agreement, valid for three years (from 2026 to 2029), aims to promote the social and cultural work carried out by the bands integrated into the coordinator.
In exchange for this agreement, the Coordinator and the bands will receive a total of 207,000 euros annually for the three years. Of this amount, each musical group will receive 7,000 euros, while the coordinator will receive 25,000 euros.
Cosomuval includes numerous musical groups from the city, such as the Agrupación Musical de Massarrojos, the Agrupación Musical de Benicalap, the Banda de Música de Campanar, the Centro Instructivo y Musical de Benimaclet, the Ateneo Musical del Puerto, the Sociedad Musical del Barrio de Malilla, among others.
