The town in the Costera region will experience a new edition of its annual theatre event. The XXXII Theatre Showcase of La Llosa de Ranes José Amat “Santa” will feature the participation of ten theatre groups presenting various stage productions over the coming weeks. The showcase begins on October 9th and runs until December 8th, filling autumn afternoons with cultural activities.
All performances will be held at the Civic Center of La Llosa de Ranes, starting at 7 PM. The event is organized by the local group Gaudium Teatre, which boasts over 40 years of theatrical experience and has been instrumental in establishing theatre as a significant part of the municipality's cultural life.
The showcase will kick off on October 9th with the play “Eurostar”, performed by the group Avant va el carro. The program continues on October 18th with “Perquè em dona la gana” by La Barcella, and on October 25th with “Foto de familia”, presented by La Manta al coll.
In November, performances will continue on the 1st with “L’última planta” by Pànic Escènic; on the 8th with “Don Quijote en los infiernos” by Áriba Teatro; and on the 15th with “Lo que deja ver el ficus cuando se poda”, by Amigos del Teatro de Castellón.
The final November performances include “¿Me esperarás?” on November 22nd, by Els Escalons, and “Bienvenido al club” on November 29th, by La Tarumba Suc de Teatre.
December will open with “Sapatos coloraos”, which the group Teatro Catral will stage on December 6th. Finally, the organizing group itself, Gaudium Teatre, will close the showcase on December 8th with the performance of the play “No soc d’este món”.
