The work has covered key points such as the Sant Jordi area, where the surface has been renewed to ensure road safety and access to homes and agricultural holdings. This intervention had a budget of 710,495.65 euros and focused on removing potholes, soil accumulation, and drainage damage.
Among the renovated roads are streets such as Giménez y Costa, Concepción Arenal, Pintor Joan Miró, Pic de Calderón, Marià Brull, Pedro de Luna, Hellín, Ovidi Montllor i Mengual, Ismael Blat, Algar de Palància, Alexandre de Laborde, Molí de Pala, and the Avenida Real de Madrid.
The action extended to more than a dozen rural roads, including L’Alqueria de Rocatí, Cases de Masero, Casa dels Cudols, Casa Fornerot, Alqueria Nova, Casa del Mudet, and Alqueria de Colau. According to municipal sources, a new sound-absorbing pavement has been used to reduce noise and pollution in the area.
This work is part of a broader plan in which the council has invested three million euros to repair road infrastructure in districts such as Castellar-L’Oliveral and El Forn d’Alcedo, in addition to the areas already mentioned, with the aim of restoring normal urban and rural mobility.
