The City Council of Valencia has expressed its intention to depoliticize the Parque Central society, opting for the appointment of a manager with a strictly technical profile to lead the railway works and future urban development.

The municipal official indicated that the goal is to ensure that the entity, which coordinates local, regional, and central administrations, operates under normal conditions. This decision follows the retirement of the previous manager, whose professionalism and effort during his tenure have been acknowledged.
Regarding the selection process, it has been reported that contacts have already been made with the Ministry of Transport to seek a consensus. The council's will is to prevent the position from becoming a political one, prioritizing the technical knowledge required for the execution of the complex railway works and the urban transformation of the city's southern area.
Management is considered the core figure for developing the project in the coming years. For this reason, the need to reach an agreement among the three parties that make up the society has been emphasized: the Valencia City Council, the Generalitat, and the Central Government.
