The Training Ship Brasil, also known as NE Brasil U-27, will make a stop at the Port of Valencia between August 18 and 21, 2026. This unit of the Brazilian Navy, intended for the practical training of its future officers, will open its doors to the public free of charge for two days.
The open house days will take place on Wednesday, August 19, and Thursday, August 20, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Access will be free from the Port of Valencia, and the ship will be docked at the South Pier of the Marina de Valencia, located at Avenida del Muelle del Turia, s/n.
This visit is part of the XL Midshipmen's Training Voyage, a journey that the Training Ship Brasil undertakes to various ports to complete the training of midshipmen and, at the same time, promote international cooperation and represent Brazil.
During the visits, attendees will be able to learn about the operational environment of future Brazilian officers and the work of the Brazilian Navy. The ship, which previously visited Valencia in August 2025, is key in the final phase of training, as it has the necessary resources to put academic knowledge into practice.
This voyage includes 140 midshipmen from the Brazilian Navy, along with 18 invited foreign midshipmen from countries such as Argentina, China, the United States, and the United Kingdom, among others. The route covers 17 ports in 14 countries, in addition to stops in Brazil. Valencia will be the third port of call and the second foreign port on this commission.
The presence of the Training Ship Brasil in Valencia represents a special opportunity to get a close look at one of the key units in the preparation of Brazilian Navy officers.
