The Generalitat has confirmed the suspension of Antoñito Molina's concert, scheduled for today, July 15th, at the Marina de València, as part of the Festival FAR programming. This decision is part of the new preventive measures adopted due to the extreme temperatures recorded this week.
The dangerous weather conditions also led to the cancellation of Ana Torroja's concert at the Viveros Gardens yesterday, shortly before it was due to start. This cancellation surprised attendees, as initially only the suspensions planned for July 15th had been announced. The situation leaves the continuity of other scheduled concerts, such as Rick Astley's on July 16th, uncertain.
In addition to concert cancellations, the City Council of Valencia and Cecopal have approved the suspension of activities planned for the patron saint festivals in El Perellonet. Municipal swimming pools will also close at 7 PM due to the risk of thermal bursts, and the Fair of Attractions at the Marina de València is suspended. Previous measures regarding the suspension of activities for the Feria de Julio remain in effect.
