The device, managed by the Valencian Housing and Land Entity (EVHA), aims to combat the irregular occupation that currently affects 13% of the 14,500 homes that make up the regional public stock. According to the administration, the objective is to guarantee access to a home for families on waiting lists who respect current legislation.
The company awarded the contract will be responsible for monitoring and representing the EVHA in the necessary administrative procedures. Likewise, the staff will coordinate actions with security forces and supervise the installation of protection systems, such as anti-occupation doors and alarms, to prevent further intrusions.
To carry out these tasks, the contractor must have a multidisciplinary team made up of a legal coordinator and at least three technical inspectors. The contract, which has an initial duration of three years with the possibility of extension, has an estimated value of 796,831 euros, excluding VAT, and the deadline for submitting bids ends on July 30.
