The aim of this initiative is to convey a message of support, unity, and closeness from Spanish local government to the autonomous city and its citizens, especially during what is considered a difficult time for Ceuta.
The FVMP has communicated this call to the mayors of the municipalities in the Valencian Community, inviting them to participate in this show of support. With this adhesion, the Valencian Federation wishes to echo the call for solidarity promoted by the FEMP and demonstrate the support of Valencian municipalities for Ceuta.
The initiative, announced by the president of FEMP and mayor of Jerez, María José García-Pelayo, during her visit to Ceuta, seeks to reinforce the message of unity from the entirety of Spanish local government. The FVMP believes that local government should stand by citizens and territories facing difficulties.
